Through the Windows

In the movie musical The Sound of Music, Julie Andrew's character Maria reminded herself of the message once told to her by her mother superior:"When the Lord closes the door, somehow He opens a window." That line has struck me from the very first time I had watched the film as a child many many years ago. 

It is perhaps that impactful insight which caused me to have this strange fascination towards windows of all kinds, shapes and sizes. You find beauty looking at them and hope looking through them.
